Take the next step in your teaching journey with the Movement Arts Academy Intermediate Pole Instructor Certification.
This eight-hour, hands-on course builds on your foundational knowledge and prepares you to teach intermediate pole skills safely, progressively, and effectively. You will learn intermediate moves and inversions, along with proper spotting techniques, safety considerations, troubleshooting strategies, and appropriate progressions and regressions for a variety of students.
The in-person training is taught in a progressive format and includes plenty of practical learning, allowing you to develop your skills and confidence with guidance from your instructor.
Course Information
- Eight hours of in-person instruction
- One year of access to the online course materials
- One year from the course date to complete all certification requirements
- No written exam
- Practical exam requires a passing grade of 80% or higher
Prerequisite
A successfully completed Beginner Pole Instructor Certification is required to receive your Intermediate Pole Instructor Certification.
If your Beginner Pole Certification was completed through another organization, you must provide a copy for review to confirm that it meets Movement Arts Academy’s prerequisite requirements.
If you have not yet completed a Beginner Pole Certification, you may:
- Complete the Beginner and Intermediate courses alongside one another, or
- Apply to challenge the Beginner Pole practical exam
Please note that even if you complete the Intermediate Pole course and exam, your Intermediate Pole Instructor Certification cannot be issued until all Beginner Pole Certification requirements have been successfully completed.
